Our children follow a curriculum which is designed to stimulate and extend.  Within small classes, dedicated teaching staff and classroom assistants provide the maximum amount of attention to each child.

Roselyon is extremely proud of its academic achievements: for the last ten years every child has gone on to their first choice of independent secondary school.   In addition there have been a significant number who have achieved scholarships or additional awards.  Pupils also transfer successfully to a wide range of state secondary schools.

Underpinning our curriculum is the philosophy that happy children always relish fresh challenges and the opportunity to learn new things.  We believe strongly in praise and encouragement, and we ensure that the children are aware of the progress they are making.

Roselyon is a Church of England foundation and Christian principles lie at the heart of our school life.   However, an understanding of other faiths and cultures is fostered. Assemblies are led by local clergy, outside speakers and the children themselves – these are all part of our termly routine.  We also go up to our parish church to celebrate major occasions such as Harvest and Christmas.
